That record shows the city and the dates, so the tournament detail below comes from the organiser and the WTA.

From BER airport, take a train to the Hauptbahnhof or the S-Bahn to Westkreuz, then the S7. That is roughly 50 to 60 minutes by our estimate, so check a journey planner. Our Berlin airport guide has the details.

The ranking is our judgement, based on time to the venue. All four times are our own estimates, so check them in a journey planner.
1. Grunewald and Halensee (roughly 5 to 15 minutes). The closest, in a villa district. The catch: few hotels, and quiet.
2. Charlottenburg and Savignyplatz (roughly 15 to 20 minutes on the S7). Restaurants and the Ku'damm. The catch: pricier in June.
3. Zoo and Tiergarten (roughly 20 minutes on the S7). Big hotels on a direct line. The catch: busy.
4. Mitte and Hackescher Markt (roughly 30 to 35 minutes on the S7). The sightseeing base, also direct. The catch: a long way back after late matches.

Grass needs dry weather and June thunderstorms are possible, so check the refund terms on your ticket and carry a light rain layer. Carry some euros as well; our cash or card in Germany guide explains when you need them.
