Stay in Richmond if you can: it is a pleasant riverside town one short train ride from Twickenham, with far more choice than the handful of places right by the stadium. Twickenham and St Margarets let you walk to the ground and skip the trains, but rooms are scarce. England's three home games in the 2027 Guinness Men's Six Nations are reported as France on Sunday 14 February, Italy on Saturday 20 February and Scotland on Saturday 13 March, all at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. Those fixtures come from reports published in March 2026, and the Six Nations page we loaded still showed 2026, so we have left the hotel search dates open. We were in London from 14 to 21 November 2023 and from 2 to 3 December 2023, so the match-day details below come from the stadium and England Rugby Travel.
These fixtures have reported status. They were published on 9 March 2026 by outlets including Planet Rugby, with kick-offs from an England club's ticket page. We could not confirm them on the Six Nations' own site.
• England v France: Sunday 14 February 2027, 15:10.
• England v Italy: Saturday 20 February 2027, 16:40. Outlets vary on this kick-off, so check it.
• England v Scotland: Saturday 13 March 2027, 16:40, on the championship's final day.
England v France on Valentine's Sunday makes restaurant tables harder to find across the area, so book dinner when you book the hotel.

We found no official face-value prices for 2027, and the RFU's ticket pages would not load for us, so we are not printing any. Go to the RFU's England Rugby ticket pages for current prices and sale dates.
Secondary sources say most face-value tickets are allocated before any general sale, and that France tickets sell out through internal ballots. One rugby club's allocation adds a £10 (≈ $13.4) admin fee per ticket and says Italy is usually the match with unlimited allocation, so Italy looks like the most realistic game for a visitor.
Resale is a different market. SeatPick reported resale prices in August 2026 of about £252 (≈ $337) for France, £224 (≈ $300) for Scotland and £137 (≈ $183) for Italy. These are resale figures, not face value, and they will move.
The stadium publishes these walking times: Twickenham Rail 10 minutes, Whitton 20, Hounslow and Hounslow East 30, and Richmond 45. England Rugby Travel says 15 minutes from Twickenham station and about 55 minutes from central London by South Western Railway. Allow for the longer figures on a match day, when the pavements are full.
Shuttles to Richmond and Hounslow East ran for the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup, but those were specific to that event. Do not assume they will run for the Six Nations.
From Heathrow: the stadium puts the airport about 6 miles away. A taxi is the simple option, or use the bus corridor or the Piccadilly line to Hounslow, then walk. Our Heathrow guide covers routes into central London, and our Oyster vs contactless guide covers fares. Check whether you need permission to travel in our UK visa guide.

The ranking is our own judgement, based on time to the stadium. Walking times come from the stadium. Times marked roughly are our estimates, not timetable figures, so check them in the National Rail or TfL journey planner.
1. Twickenham and St Margarets. 10 to 20 minutes on foot, past the pubs, with no trains needed. The catch: very few rooms, and minimum-stay rules are likely on match weekends.
2. Richmond. Roughly 5 minutes by train plus the walk from Twickenham station, or 45 minutes on foot. A pretty riverside town with the District line. The catch: Twickenham's platforms are packed after the match.
3. Hounslow and the Heathrow side. 30 minutes on foot from Hounslow East, or a short bus. Usually the cheaper chain-hotel option, with an easy airport link. The catch: a dull area with little reason to linger.
4. Clapham Junction and Wandsworth. Roughly 15 to 20 minutes by train, then the walk. Good value for inner London. The catch: post-match rail queues.
5. Waterloo and South Bank. Roughly 25 to 30 minutes by direct train, then the walk. The sights are here, so this suits a longer London trip. See our where to stay in London guide. The catch: the slowest journey, and the return trains are crushed.
• Late finishes. With a 16:40 kick-off, the match ends around 7pm, and then come the rail queues. Stay for a pint and let the first wave go.
• Sunday service. England v France is on a Sunday, so check the weekend rail timetable and any engineering work before you plan your return.
• Weather. Late February and March are usually cold and wet. Our best time to visit London guide covers the season.
• Booking. We have no sourced hotel rates. France and the final-day Scotland game are likely to draw the most visitors, so take a free-cancellation room early and confirm the fixture before you pay for anything non-refundable.
• Eat early. Pubs and restaurants near the ground will be busy on match days. Our what to eat in London guide covers the city.

Reports give England v France on Sunday 14 February, England v Italy on Saturday 20 February and England v Scotland on Saturday 13 March 2027. We could not confirm these on the Six Nations' own site.

Twickenham Rail, a 10-minute walk according to the stadium; England Rugby Travel says 15. Whitton is 20 minutes on foot.
Richmond for the best balance of town and access, Twickenham or St Margarets to walk to the ground if you can find a room, or Hounslow for cheaper chain hotels near Heathrow.
