**The 2027 Emirates FA Cup final is on Saturday 22 May at Wembley Stadium, according to The FA. Stay in Wembley Park to walk back and skip the station queues, or in Marylebone for a central base with direct Chiltern trains to Wembley Stadium station.** Tickets go to the finalists' members and loyalty holders, and we found no general sale for neutrals. Wembley has a stronger option for visitors a week earlier: the Women's FA Cup final on 15 May. We were in London from 14 to 21 November 2023 and from 2 to 3 December 2023.

## The dates: Wembley in May

The FA's published round dates give **Saturday 22 May 2027** for the final. Reseller and auto-generated pages list 17 May and 21 May; ignore them. The kick-off is not published. The 2026 final kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday.

The Premier League ends on 30 May, so the final falls before the last league round, as it did in 2026.

The FA also gives **Saturday 15 May** for the Women's FA Cup final and **Sunday 16 May** for Non-League Finals Day (FA Trophy and FA Vase). The FA Cup semi-finals are on the weekend of 24 April, also official. The Carabao Cup final is reported for Sunday 21 March by Sports Illustrated, and some listings say late February, so confirm it before booking.

## Tickets: who actually gets in

**Finalists' allocations** go to each club's own members and loyalty holders. In 2026 each club first received 28,700 tickets, later topped up (Chelsea gained 2,276 more).

**2026 adult prices,** reported by Football Ground Guide rather than read from The FA: £50 (≈ $67) Category 4, £80 (≈ $107) Category 3, £125 (≈ $167) Category 2, £175 (≈ $234) Category 1 and £255 (≈ $341) Level 2. Sources disagree on the top tier: Football Ground Guide also lists a £285 (≈ $381) Premium Level 2, while Goal gives £255 (≈ $341) as the top price. Check The FA for 2027.

**Neutrals:** we found no general-public sale and no neutral ballot, so we cannot promise one. In practice a neutral needs a Club Wembley package or a finalist's member.

**The Women's FA Cup final** is the realistic alternative. In 2026 it went on general sale at £15 (≈ $20) for Category 4, £35 (≈ $47) for Category 1 (£31.50 (≈ $42) early bird) and £45 (≈ $60) for Premium, according to The FA. 2027 prices are not published.

**The law:** under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, it is an offence for an unauthorised person to sell or otherwise dispose of a ticket for a designated football match, which in effect means professional matches in England and Wales. It covers online sales.

**Scam warning:** many sites advertise "FA Cup final 2027" tickets before anyone has qualified. Those listings are speculative. See our [London scams guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/tourist-scams-in-london) for the wider picture.

## Getting to Wembley

Times below are from Wembley Stadium's help pages.

• **Wembley Park** (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines): about 8 minutes on foot. The busiest station.

• **Wembley Stadium station** (Chiltern trains from Marylebone): about 8 minutes on foot.

• **Wembley Central** (Bakerloo line and Overground): about 20 minutes on foot, and often the quieter fallback.

Parking is limited and must be booked in advance.

**From Heathrow,** take the Elizabeth line to Bond Street (about 33 minutes), then the Jubilee line to Wembley Park (about 20 minutes). Those are aggregator estimates, so check TfL. See our [Heathrow guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/london-heathrow-to-city-guide).

## Where to stay, ranked by time to the stadium

This order is our own judgement, based on time to the stadium. Train times are our rough estimates, so check a journey planner. Add the walk from the station.

**1. Wembley Park.** About 8 minutes on foot, so you skip the post-match station queues. **The catch:** it is the priciest area on final weekend, and thin on sights.

**2. Marylebone.** Roughly 10 to 15 minutes by Chiltern train, then the 8-minute walk. A good central neighbourhood. **The catch:** Chiltern queues, and other routes from here are slower.

**3. Finchley Road and Swiss Cottage.** Roughly 10 to 15 minutes on the Jubilee line. Quieter and better value. **The catch:** rarely convenient for sightseeing.

**4. Baker Street and Bond Street.** Roughly 15 to 20 minutes on the Jubilee or Metropolitan lines, and the best fit for Heathrow via Bond Street. **The catch:** long post-match queues at Wembley Park.

**5. Paddington.** Roughly 25 to 30 minutes on the Bakerloo line to Wembley Central, plus the 20-minute walk. An easy Heathrow link. **The catch:** the longest walk, and the Bakerloo is slow.

For a longer trip, our [where to stay in London](https://clevertourists.com/resources/where-to-stay-in-london) guide covers the centre. The [Oyster and contactless guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/london-oyster-vs-contactless-free-museums-guide) explains how to pay on the Tube.

## Match-day catches

• **Arrive early.** Allow 60 to 90 minutes before kick-off.

• **Late trains.** We could only find dated information on the Jubilee line's Night Tube service, so we cannot confirm it for 2027.

• **Engineering works.** They can shut lines at weekends. Check TfL the week before.

• **Colours.** Seating is split by club, so neutrals should not wear colours in the wrong section.

• **Booking.** Book free cancellation now and decide after the semi-finals on the weekend of 24 April.
