**Hyde Park Winter Wonderland runs from Thursday 19 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, every day except Christmas Day**, according to the organiser's tickets guide. Entry needs a timed ticket, listed at £1.00 (≈ $1.3) Off-Peak, £5.50 (≈ $7.4) Standard and £8.25 (≈ $11.0) Peak with booking fees included, and the site closes at 10pm. We were in London in November and December 2023, but this page is not a first-hand review: everything below comes from the organiser and other sources named in the text, checked in late October 2026.

## Confirmed 2026 dates and opening hours

The organiser says the event stays open until 10pm every evening, with last entry at 9.30pm. Some rides may close their queues early. Opening time changes from day to day, and any date not listed here opens at 10am:

• **12pm:** 19 and 20 November, 23 to 26 November, 30 November, 2 December.

• **2pm:** Tuesday 1 December.

• **11am:** 27 November, 3 and 4 December, 7 to 11 December, 14 to 18 December, and 28 December to 1 January 2027.

• **10am:** weekends outside those runs, 21 to 24 December, 26 and 27 December, and 2 and 3 January 2027.

• **Closed:** Friday 25 December.

So a weekday in November or early December is not a 10am start, and a morning plan can fail if you assume it is. The organiser says the website header shows the hours for each date. The final day, 3 January, is billed as a Family Fun Day, with details still to come.

## Entry ticket prices for 2026

The organiser sells three entry tiers, shown as coloured time slots when you book. It says booking fees are now included in the price shown.

**The Off-Peak wording conflicts.** The tickets guide shows £1.00 (≈ $1.3) next to Off-Peak, then says Off-Peak slots are "always free to enter" as long as you book a ticket. The homepage says "just £1 (≈ $1.3)" for Off-Peak sessions Monday to Thursday in November. Plan on £1 (≈ $1.3) and treat the checkout as the final word.

Entry can be free in another way: the organiser says spending over £25 (≈ $33) in a single online transaction on rides, attractions, packages, passes or food and drink meal deals unlocks free entry.

Rides, shows and food are charged separately. The organiser says booking in advance can save up to 25% and that advance prices last until 23:59 the day before your visit. We have not listed individual ride prices. The one extra we saw published on the homepage is a VIP Tour Experience at £149 (≈ $199).

| Tier | Listed price | Slot colour | When |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Off-Peak | £1.00 (≈ $1.3) (see conflict above) | Green | Quieter slots, including Monday to Thursday in November |
| Standard | £5.50 (≈ $7.4) | Gold | All day on certain dates, and many mornings and afternoons |
| Peak | £8.25 (≈ $11.0) | Orange | Mostly later in the day and at weekends |

## How booking works

The organiser shows tickets as on sale now, sold through its site and its authorised partner, SeeTickets.

• **Everyone needs a ticket.** The organiser's wording is "whether you're 2 or 92". We saw no age-based entry price on the guide.

• **Slots are one hour long,** from 10am to 8pm. Arrive early in your slot. Once inside you can stay until closing.

• **Pre-book or turn up?** The same page says you "must pre-book" and also that you can buy on arrival. The second statement is the more specific one: it warns that popular slots sell out and that on-the-day prices are higher. Book ahead if your date matters.

• **Changing plans:** the organiser offers a rescheduling tool for moving a booking within the season. Read the refund terms before paying; we have not summarised them here.

• **Accessibility:** the organiser has separate access tickets and provisions, linked from the tickets guide.

## Which day to choose

If cost and space matter most, our suggestion is a Monday to Thursday in November, when Off-Peak pricing applies. That is the organiser's pricing pattern, not an attendance forecast. Remember that most of those days open at 12pm.

• **Christmas Eve:** the event is open from 10am, but National Rail says many trains finish early on 24 December. Check your last train before picking an evening slot.

• **Saturday 26 December:** open from 10am, yet this is the awkward day to reach it. National Rail says most operators have no service, and the organiser says there is no Elizabeth line. Check TfL on the day.

• **Monday 28 December:** a substitute bank holiday, open from 11am. National Rail says trains run.

• **New Year's Eve:** open from 11am. If you also have fireworks tickets, read our [London fireworks guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/london-new-years-eve-fireworks-2026-tickets-guide) before picking a slot.

## Getting there: gates and stations

The organiser's Getting Here page lists four gates. Check your route before you set off, since the closest stations are the ones most likely to be affected:

• **Busy stations:** Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge and Marble Arch are "expected to be busy and can sometimes be closed".

• **Quieter stations:** the organiser suggests Victoria, Bond Street and Paddington. It gives walks of about 12 minutes from Paddington, 14 from Bond Street, 17 from Green Park and 19 from Victoria.

• **Step-free and buggies:** use Green Park or Bond Street, which have lifts.

• **Driving:** the organiser advises against it. If you must, it points to Q-Park Park Lane, W1K 7TY.

• **Bags:** A4 size or smaller. There is no left luggage on site, and the organiser says the nearest is at Victoria Station.

Our [Oyster vs contactless guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/london-oyster-vs-contactless-free-museums-guide) covers paying for the Tube.

| Gate | Stations | Nearest zones |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Red (East) | Bond Street, Marble Arch | Santa Land, Thrillville |
| Blue (South) | Hyde Park Corner, Green Park, Victoria | Skater's Corner, Show Town |
| Green (West) | Knightsbridge, High Street Kensington | Bavarian Village, Market Square |
| Gold (North) | Marble Arch, Paddington | Arctic Circle, Luminarie Lane |

## Where to stay

These are areas, not hotel picks. Base your choice on the gate you want and the rest of the trip.

• **Paddington:** the organiser's shortest listed walk, about 12 minutes, and our [where to stay guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/where-to-stay-in-london) lists it as the transit pick for Heathrow.

• **South Kensington:** our family pick, beside Hyde Park and the big museums, and on the Piccadilly line.

• **Bloomsbury or Covent Garden:** better if Winter Wonderland is one evening of a longer sightseeing trip. Bond Street and Green Park are the sensible stations for them.

Our [how many days in London guide](https://clevertourists.com/resources/how-many-days-in-london) helps you decide how long to book.

## What is confirmed, and what to recheck

The dates, hours, entry tiers and gates come directly from the organiser's site. Some third-party listings still show other start dates, including 9 and 13 November; those do not match the organiser, so ignore them.

We could not read a 2026 Royal Parks page for the event, or TfL's 2026 Christmas plan. The Elizabeth line note for 26 December comes from the organiser, and it matches TfL's 2025 arrangements. Recheck it in December. The Family Fun Day details were still unpublished.
